Tier 1: Yard Report Card

Does your yard provide a comfortable home for ticks and the animals that transport them? Find out with a personalized written report completed by our tick experts. Our team will make a no-contact visit to your property to identify what ticks love about your yard and key action steps you can take to manage the risk of bites to your family and pets.

Report features:

  • Walk-around inspection of your yard to identify landscape features that shelter ticks and reservoir animals.

  • Action list of ecologically sound steps you can take to manage the risk of tick bites around your home.

  • Written report of observations and mitigation steps, including property diagram with annotations.

  • Convenient, low-impact service that can take place while you’re away, with reports delivered via email within one week of our visit.

  • Visits leave no trace other than footprints. Ticks don’t survive indoors for very long, so our services are limited to outdoor areas.

Our standard survey approach is designed for a lot that is 0.25 to 1.5 acres in size. Larger lots are no problem, as we will still work to target the highest-risk areas near houses or obvious activity areas.

Yard Report Card surveys typically take less than an hour, and there is no need for the homeowner to be present. For scheduled service, consider our Expert Walkthrough service and talk to our researchers in real time.

Tier 2: Expert Walkthrough

Schedule a tour of your property so our researchers can help you look at your home through a tick’s eyes. During a 60-minute appointment, we will review trouble spots together and discuss steps for mitigating risk. The Expert Walkthrough also includes all items in the Yard Report Card service so that you have a written record of key next steps.

  • Schedule a convenient time in your schedule. When we first arrive, our team will take a quick tour on their own to flag spots for discussion, then we will get together and talk through our observations and how you can incorporate tick safety measures into your yard aesthetic and habits.

  • Visits leave no trace other than footprints. Ticks don’t survive indoors for very long, so our services are limited to accessible outdoor areas.
